Making the Treasury More Efficient and Accountable to Enhance Service Delivery
About 60 practitioners gathered in Bangkok, Thailand, to attend the 2023 PEMNA T-CoP Meeting. During this two-day meeting, the participants discussed three topics: 1) Implementing Accrual-based Accounting - Lessons learned and experiences; 2)Risk Management and Control Systems in Treasury; and 3) Implementing the Integrated Financial Management Information System - Lessons learned and experiences
Our member countries-Cambodia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam-shared their experiences regarding the topics, enriching the discussion. In addition, several international experts from the World Bank and International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSAS), and the Chairman of the Kazakhstan Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance also presented on the topics.
