Introducing PEMNA
PEMNA, the Public Expenditure Management Network in Asia, is a peer-learning network of public financial management (PFM) officials and experts in the Asia-Pacific region.
Launched in 2012, PEMNA provides a unique learning environment for its members through the two communities of practice (CoP), one for budget and the other for treasury. The two CoPs offer a smaller group setting for the members to exchange candid and first-hand experiences and knowledge in managing PFM systems.
Members of the two CoPs meet regularly both face-to-face and online to share experiences with peers who have similar concerns or have gone through similar stages of PFM reforms. Through these exchanges, PEMNA aims to help its member countries forge a path towards stronger national budget and treasury systems in their countries.
